Ok, so we have had a topic for favorite songs but now I would like to see what your favorite album might be as a whole. Before the digital age we all used to but those big round black platters with a collection of new songs smile.gif I would love to hear your favorites and why.

There are soooo many and it's a toughie but I think it will be fun.

I believe mine is "The Grand Tour" I thought George was at a vocal highpoint on this album. I like all the songs and don't believe there was a "throwaway" on it. The instrumentation was outstanding, heavy on Steel Guitar and I love that !! It's one I always play several times in a row every time and it still grabs me. George's cover of "Borrowed Angel" is easily the best version I have heard. No offense to Mel Street ! He was great too, but those swooping highs and harmonies always give me the chills (in a good way !)

Ok, so how about it ? Let's hear yours....

All of his albums are great, but to me, the very best is "Alone Again"--definitive Jones.

I love all his albums, have never heard a bad one. My choice for favorite is "Wine Colored Roses". Love the album and title song, has always been my favorite.

Mine is Cold Hard Truth. I can go in the car and play "Choices" over and over again. I also can listen to the same tracks on that CD over and over again. Like others have said He never did an Album I didn't like.

I agree Josh, he has had so many songs and albums it's hard to pick one but I think "The Cold Hard Truth" is the one he will be remembered for.
