SLIDESHOWCountry music legend George Jones received a special visitor on Christmas Day when fellow recording artist Ronnie McDowell showed up at his home in Franklin, Tenn., bearing the gift of a portrait – commissioned by Jones’ wife, Nancy – depicting his celebrated DUI arrest while operating a riding lawn mower. “I’m your biggest fan,” said McDowell, “I want to present this new painting to you: As a matter of fact, it’s my favorite painting I’ve ever done.” McDowell’s portrait of Elvis Presley is featured in the book “The Genuine Elvis” and he is also known for hit songs such as “The King Is Gone.” “I Love You, I Love You, I Love You,” and “Older Women.
