Harry brought George Jones on stage for a couple of songs and Harry, pretending he was overcome, fell to the stage in disbelief that he made music with such a legend. George also had himself a great time!
George Jones and wife Nancy attended the Johnny Cash Memorial Tribute Monday, Nov. 10, 2003 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. George performed with Hank Williams Jr and the two remaining members of the ‘Highwaymen’, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson paying tribute to the late Johnny Cash. Cash was a principal element in the original ‘Highwaymen,’ along with the late Waylon Jennings, Nelson, and Kristofferson. Cash died on Sept. 12, 2003 at the age of 71, from complications of diabetes.
