GEORGE JONES EXPANDS TOUR AHEAD OF DUETS ALBUM

Country music legend George Jones continues to add dates to his ongoing tour schedule, which now stretches into December.

The 76-year-old performer, who has been playing all over the US since last summer, will resume touring July 18 in Myrtle Beach, SC, and he’ll visit Alabama and Tennessee before heading out next month for a week’s worth of shows in Ireland. more!

WATCH HERE The Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum’s second crop of honorees will include men whose instrumental and production wizardry bolstered classic hits including “Dock of the Bay,” “Mustang Sally,” “Peggy Sue,” “Like a Rolling Stone” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” as announced Tuesday morning at the Hall.

George Jones and Peter Frampton were on hand Tuesday morning to announce the new class of Hall of Famers. more!

GEORGE JONES PUTS GUITAR ASIDE

George Jones had a guitar returned to him last month that had been stolen more than 40 years ago, though a wrist injury prevented him from playing it on stage that night. As it turns out, that injury might have helped him fix another physical ailment.

George broke his right wrist in October 2006 when he fell at the entrance of producer Keith Stegall’s Nashville studio. He had surgery a week later, then appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York without an acoustic guitar, which he’s traditionally played during his concerts . more!
