COUNTRY Music Resort Set To Open This Fall
Ronnie Gilley’s family and business partners have set up a community rally in support of Country Crossing on Saturday (1/10) at the Rip Hewes Stadium in Dothan, AL.
Special guests include Jamie Foxx, George Jones, and several members of the NFL. Travis Tritt and Jake Owen kick-off the live shows that conclude of the rally.
“Black or white, rich or poor, in hard economic times and at war, music is a powerful medicine that naturally brings people together,” said Ronnie Gilley, Country Crossing Owner & Developer.
“Music has no barriers and this is our way to celebrate in unity the spirit of music and to effectively demonstrate the overwhelming support of Country Crossing-that will forever be the home of music and entertainment for all to enjoy and share in the experience.”
Ronnie Gilley Properties, through its affiliate Resorts Development Group II, broke ground late last year developing a 375-acre parcel (located off U.S. Hwy. 231 South in Dothan) to make it the home of Country Crossing–an unprecedented, master-planned resort and entertainment facility designed to become a mega tourist destination for the entire country.
Country Crossing is scheduled to open in Fall 2009.
