Wal*Mart and Nashville-based merchandising and marketing company Richards & Southern have launched a non-exclusive 8-act Country Legends T-shirt pallet display program. This program features cool, nostalgic style designs featuring The Oak Ridge Boys, Conway Twitty, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, George Jones and Kenny Rogers.
The shirts will be available for $7.99 in 1500 stores across America through May 2009.

With a career lasting for more than 50 years, George Jones has cemented a place in music history.
The country troubadour is bringing his legendary music to San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland on Thursday.
Jones said he will perform the hits from across his five-plus decades in music.

Ronnie Gilley’s family and business partners have set up a community rally in support of Country Crossing on Saturday (1/10) at the Rip Hewes Stadium in Dothan, AL.
Special guests include Jamie Foxx, George Jones, and several members of the NFL. Travis Tritt and Jake Owen kick-off the live shows that conclude of the rally.
