One-by-one country music stars are taking off their cowboy boots and replacing them with army boots! The Boot Campaign was inspired by retired US Navy SEAL and author of the book Lone Survivor, Marcus Luttrell. The campaign is a way for Americans to give back and say thank you to our armed forces.
Country music stars involved include: legends like George Jones, Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Josh Turner, Heidi Newfield, Chuck Wicks, Jack Ingram and many more!

After a one-night stay in a Nashville hospital following what was described as a routine checkup, 79-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer George Jones is back at his Franklin home.
As of early Thursday afternoon, Jones was feeling fine, and he’d begun concerning himself with important issues, like the big NFL playoff game coming up Sunday afternoon between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.
GEORGE JONES HOSPITALIZED: RESTING WELL

Nashville, TN - On Wednesday, January 5th 2011, George Jones underwent an annual routine health checkup. Although Mr. Jones is staying overnight in a Nashville hospital, he is resting and will be released tomorrow.
“I just decided I didn’t want to drive back to Franklin in this cold weather. So I guess I’ll stay here overnight and go home tomorrow!” says humorous Country Music Hall of Fame member, George Jones.
