Dear Possum Nation:
GET YOUR RUNNING SHOES ON…Time For A Contest…and you’re all eligible to participate!!!
WE NEED A FIGHT SONG…a cheer, a chant, something that’ll tell the world we’re proud to be Possums and you’d better show us some respect. Something like this:
“Fight Possums Fight
With All Your Might…
Kick em, scratch em, bite….
Make Em See The Light!!”
George Jones was a no-show on Monday. That’s George Hamilton Jones III, the 2-year-old yellow lab belonging to George and Nancy Jones.
The dog left home Sunday, so by Tuesday his owners were worried, especially because of the dangerous heat. “George has been on every little road out here calling him and looking for him,” Nancy said Tuesday.
Fortunately, the dog soon returned home. Guess he took a grand tour of the area.
George Jones helped Tracy Lawrence celebrate his 17th number 1. The celebration was held on Wednesday, August 1 at Nashville’s trendy eatery, Cabana. George was one of many of Lawrence’s friends, family, and business colleagues to help him celebrate this happy event.
