GEORGE HELPS JUNIOR LEAGUE

George Jones, Trace Adkins, Amy Grant and Vince Gill, and Moll and Charlie Anderson are supporting the Junior League of Nashville by participating in the non-profit’s upcoming Celebrity Tour of Kitchens. On April 1, Grant and Gill, Jones, and the Andersons will welcome guests into their homes to check out the amenities in their kitchens, an experience designed to give guests ideas for their own homes. Adkins and his wife Rhonda will host the tour’s patrons’ party on the evening of March 31. All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of the Junior League, such as work at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and the Nashville Children’s Theatre. GEORGE JONES STAYS BUSY ON THE ROAD

Country icon George Jones continues to work at a breakneck pace on the road, lining his 2009 with enough live dates to keep him busy throughout most of the year.
The Country Music Hall of Famer shows close to 50 shows on his current calendar, which runs through late November and continues later this week with a March 27 appearance in Wheeling, WV. The 77-year-old singer continues to headline around 100 shows annually.

RONNIE GILLEY ENTERTAINMENT has announced it will present the first annual Jones Jam as part of the official introduction to and groundbreaking ceremonies for Country Crossing in Dothan, Alabama.
An outdoor concert event, the Jones Jam is a mini-festival organized to celebrate and support the premise and excitement building around Country Crossing (an unprecedented, master-planned resort and entertainment facility located in Dothan, AL) and will be held at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan, Alabama on Saturday, March 21, 2009. The Jam will feature performances by country legend, George Jones himself, along with a few of his friends in country music including, Clint Black, Lee Greenwood, Aaron Tippin and more. Gates will open at noon and performances start at 2PM. The event is ABSOLUTELY FREE!
GROUND BREAKS FOR BED AND BREAKFAST AT COUNTRY CROSSING

Jones was proud to announce that his name will be part of the first business to hit country crossing.
During a time when some struggle to find work, developer Ronnie Gilley has employed 200 people including a general manager of George Jones Possum Holler Bed and Breakfast.
